The world we live in…

Our motto: “Instant Gratification!”

Our Pledge:

“I pledge allegiance to you, card made of plastic, oh how gratifying you are. And to you, turbo fusion diet, for I lost ten pounds and gained thirty more…And finally I pledge my allegiance to me. May I get what I want, when I want it, with the least amount of effort…Amen!”

Some of us admit this “Pledge” and the rest of us are in denial. One way or another we have all found a way to be Instantly Gratified; it’s our nature. So naturally, we are irked when God only reveals small portions of His Master Plan and then proceeds to have us wait for His perfect timing. So what do we do? We find ways to get our foot in the door and force it open so we can finally find satisfaction.

But the truth is, the completion of the plan is not what satisfies us. It is the Journey with the Lord on our way to completion that satisfies our anxious spirit.

Our Response:
Allow God to take charge of our everyday life. May we be patient and trust God with every step. And may we enjoy the Journey with our Lord.
